Hello everyone!
This is the fifth publication of the circuit walk of the Marina Alta. In this post we will talk about the race at "Teulada".
In this race there was no record of participation but still the highest figure of 1,200 participants was achieved. The race is 10 km with a vertical drop of 110 meters. The route in this town is varied as it passes by asphalt roads and dirt roads. The only step goal is to 1.7 km, making a small tour of the center of the town, and then diverted to the surroundings. The route will be decided in this way to avoid having to cut off many streets to traffic.
The first 100 participants needed 40 minutes and 30 seconds for the entire journey. Already in qualifying, the winner was Jose Antonio Fernandez Cantos "Benidorm Athletics Club" with a time of 33 minutes and 53 seconds. Also noteworthy is the second, third and fourth place, as it was achieved by runners "Llebeig Athletics Club d'Xábia" to achieve two athletes on the podium.
