THE HYDRATION

The hydration  of a runner is very important for having good results both in training and competitions. However, many runners make mistakes.

The quantity of liquid that the runner loses during exercise will depend on the degree of intensity, the duration of the exercise, temperature and humidity and the characteristics of the environment. When water is scarce, it diminishes the ability of performance.

The people who do sport,  they should ensure that they eat and drink liquids provide them with the necessary amount of sodium, this is the electrolyte that more is lost during sweating, essential to maintain the balance of the cellular fluids.

Next, it shows tips with respect to hydration.

Do not drink too much water before the race. Some runners drink plenty of water before the race to avoid dehydration. It is advisable to drink enough water to finish with the thirst. It is recommended during the 45 minutes before the race.

The amount of water you should drink during the race will depend on the distance  and the weather.

If you drink plenty of water you can have pain in the stomach or having to evacuate the liquid.

Another tip isn't drink any sporty drink which you haven't tried before because it could be bad for you.
